The Heart of the DJ is different in a few key ways:

• The primary objective is to transform you into a world-class DJ. This involves more than simply teaching you an assortment of techniques, telling you what equipment to buy, or what buttons to push, which is 99% of what you will learn in other how-to-DJ resources. You will learn all that stuff here too of course, but there is an unprecedented focus on the so-called "soft skills" of DJing, which are much, much more important. Do you want to be a robot or do you want to be yourself at your most alive, being expressed through music?

• Many other courses and schools offer access to a Facebook group as their community center, which is problematic for a number of reasons, including the general toxicity of the platform, mixed engagement, and no copyright freedom (meaning that it's almost impossible to share your work and receive feedback). By contrast, our community is hosted on our own private and moderated platform, freeing you to share and express yourself in ways that are conducive to your growth.

• DJing should be fun and kinda weird! The overall attitudes, presentation, and philosophies of most other DJ resources are devoid of color, take themselves too seriously, and seem overly concerned with appearing cool but not actually being cool. This course was designed to be highly educational, progressive and diverse, somewhat silly, and deeply mystical, qualities that you won't find in any other DJ program.

The Heart of the DJ is an equipment-free course, all you need is a computer and some headphones! While you will learn all about the various kinds of DJ equipment and you may choose to buy your own gear, it is not necessary or even recommended to have any speciality equipment for this course.

The entire course is taught using free software that anyone can access. If you're using any computer made in the last 10 years you shouldn't have any problem!

This course is genre-neutral and will teach you to be successful no matter what kind of music you enjoy and want to play or specialize in.

While you can find all kinds of videos of varying quality about a wide array of DJ products, techniques, and mixing strategies on YouTube for free, you won't find The Heart of the DJ on there. This course is a specific system and philosophy designed to transform you into a world-class DJ and it's only available here.

You have lifetime access to this course for as long as it exists, including any updates, so you can take as long as you need to. DJing is a journey not a race!

That's not a question 🙂 But don't worry, you don't need any technical musical ability to DJ, only a love for music is required.

This course is priced such that if you have even one paid gig, it can pay for itself. It's not unusual for even beginner DJs to make 200-700 USD a night, depending on the event; everything after is profit!

Even if you don't choose to turn DJing into a money-making venture, there is a great deal of satisfaction and joy that comes with playing music exactly how you want, sharing your gifts with others, the energetic natural high of discovery and performance, a greater understanding of who you are via artistic expression, exercising your intrinsic creative muscles, and a lifetime of intimacy with music. How much is all that worth to you?

While this is not a music production course, you will learn many ideas, skills, and philosophies that lead directly into creating your own songs. In fact, there is probably no better way to get your feet wet in the ocean of music creation than by learning how to DJ!

Simply send us a message within 30 days of your purchase date and you'll get 100% money back.

Meditation is simply a method to getting in touch with reality as it is. As you progress through the course, and as you get closer to playing live in front of others, this skill becomes increasingly invaluable. It's true that most DJs don't meditate, but it's also true that most DJs just aren't that great. I want you to be great, and the kind of rigorous introspection afforded to you via the ancient practice of meditation ensures that you will be.

Fear not, you won't be abandoned! In addition to the private community that is included with the course, you will also have access to direct support and weekly office hours so you can get some 1 on 1 attention. The goal is to ensure that you can become the greatest DJ you can be!
